I am having bypass and have been told that fish is good to eat for the protein. I hope this helps

I can eat anything in small amounts.
Sugarless pop cycles are my new best friend.
Down 75 today which is the weight of my 10 year old grandson.LOL
Did you have gastric bypass Bud, or sleeve? Congrats on your weight loss. That is awesome. Celebrate with a sugar free pop cycle.

I had BY pass and there were complications from tumors.
It took 6 hours for mine but everything worked out fine.
6 days in hospital but now my doc says"I am the poster boy for bariatric surgery.
Current weight 315

Wow. 6 hours. I'm glad you are doing well. So you said you are on the "regular" diet now. So what do you have cravings for?

I don't have cravings for much.
Fruit salad and Popsicle's seem to satisfy my cravings for sweets.
Cambels veg beef soup is real easy to eat and is very soft.
I tried an energy bar with chocolate but it made my stomach uncomfortable so no more of those.

I can't wait to have fruit salad. Especially watermelon. I really wish I could have a Coca Cola. Thanks for the soup idea. I've heard that chocolate can upset our stomachs because of the sugar.

Watermelon is the best and melts in your mouth.
Had a few small chocolate kisses 1 at a time and no problem. Also those small cups of tangerine are wonderful.

I would cut out the crackers. They're just carbs taking up the room that good protein should be in. Soup is sometimes good but watch out for the noodles and potatoes and sodium. When in doubt ask your doctor/nutrtionist.
