Questions about Vacation plans after Surgery.

Hi all, It has been a long struggle but I have cleared all the hurdles and it looks like my surgery will be in late May or early June. I still have to decide which surgery I am going to get. Leaning toward Gastric Bypass as that seems to have the best results dealing with type 2 diabetes. I am not totally opposed to Sleeve Gastrectomy because of the decreased chance of complications. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

Anyway, my main question for tonight is what is typical recovery time for planning a family vacation to a famous theme park in Anaheim, California? If I end up having the GB in early June, do you think I will be okay to go on a vacation in late October.

You should be fine for a vacation by then.... I had the Gastric bypass on Feb 14th 2017 and I started Kenpo Karate 6 weeks later and had no isssue and it is very active Ive been training at least 2hrs 3 times a week. I do sit ups on an incline and regular ones... I would say go for it I am sure you'll be good to go and will lose some weight by then and be struting around there like a new man....
