Can esophageal dysmotility prevent surgery?

Hi All, just finished my preop and upper gi showed esophageal dysmotility, Have to have an esophageal manometry. Does anyone know if this will prevent me from having gastric bypass surgery. Would appreciate any input. Thanks!

I had to have esophageal motility study too for same reason. Am waiting for results. Best person to ask is your doctor.
