    Almost 5 months out.

Thank you so much. It's happened so fast that it's hard to wrap my head around it. That is in a good way. It's nice to be able to show people that are thinking about it or are fresh out of surgery what kind of results can be achieved.

    Almost 5 months out.

I'd like to share some before and after pics of me and my wife. I had the surgery nov 28. My wife had hers 6 months before me. Vickie at 234lbs just before surgery. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn63/keeno1970/family/fatgirl_zps7c336b69.jpg Me at 294lbs...

A little over two months out.

My surgery was on Nov 28th and since then I've lost 50lbs. Went from 294 to 244. I'm just blown away by that in a good way. Dropping pant sizes like crazy. I've always lost weight very quickly when I've tried before but not like this. I've probably saved over $1,000 a month not eating out all of...

    Is this normal?

I weigh myself every saturday morning and have been loosing 4 lbs a week consistantly. And I eat far more than 3 oz of food a day. Six to seven small meals a day. I think it's going to very for everybody. Guys in general loose weight faster than females anyways. At 1-2 pounds a week at least...

    Alittle nervous about food...

Pizza used to be one of my favorite foods and I could down a whole large by myself. But now I'd probably be lucky to finish 1/3 of a slice. But I've chosen to stay away from those foods that are super high in calories and fat. I've heard of people after surgery loosing a ton of weight and then...

    Hair Loss??

At about 5 months after my wife had the surgery I started noticing small clumps of hair on the shower wall. Her hair was falling out. So she started taking biotin pills. But she still doesn't get enough protien on a daily basis. I can't make her eat right. Thats her choice. And she doesn't like...

Just had the surgery a month ago.

I was 289lbs one time before and with hard core diet and excercize went down to 187lbs in one year. 12% body fat. Not even I could believe what I had achieved. So luckily I have a whole closet full of clothes that fit me at that weight. Tons of Polo shirts & slacks 501 blue jeans ect. So at...

Just had the surgery a month ago.

I was off work for two weeks recovering. I was more than ready to get back to work but on my last day I woke up at 3:40am with my lower right side killing me. I got up to go to the bathroom and could not urinate. I knew I had a kidney stone. And for those who have had them you know the pain I'm...

Just had the surgery a month ago.

When I pack my lunch for a 10-12 hour work day I'll take some deli slices of honey roasted turkey breast lunch meat. I also found some one cup serving size cans of baked beans that I enjoy. I'll eat half at lunch and half later. I also bring sharp cheddar cheese, yogart and some jello. Those...

Just had the surgery a month ago.

My name is Ricky and my wifes name is Vickie. We both had the gastric sleeve done. Most people think sleeve and think it means lap band or something else. And I say nope! They cut a 16" to 18" chunk of my stomach out. I saw the pictures of it. My wife is an RN and had it done 6 months ago and...
