I have gone up 10 lbs over the yrs after surgery and back down to my normal weight but right now I’m back up for the 2nd time and I’ve got myself into some bad habits. My BIGGEST mistake was picking up a soda for the 1st time in 3 yrs and now I’m hooked. It’s so bad for us who have had the sleeve or probably any type of weight loss surgery. Plus it’s calories I don’t need since I already drink coffee with creamer. Please don’t suggest switching to a zero calorie soda cause those are just yuck to me lol. I’m drinking 1 a day but sometimes 2. The other problem is I have completely gone off the rails with my plate supposed to be making up 70% of protein. It’s minimal meat and mainly carbs. My migraines have returned with a vengeance. After I initially lost all the weight they went completely away, but now that my eating habits are so bad they are back. I was even hospitalized for three days with infusions because of them. I’m on so many medications for my migraines it’s insane. My blood work is all good including all the female hormonal testing they did.. Lipid panel looked great, no high cholesterol or anything like that (surprisingly). I’ve always done great with my vitamins up until I started getting bad migraines and then I just totally started slacking off cause I was more focused on all the other meds to control the pain in my head. However, I’ve been back on track with them so I can cross that issue out. Has anyone else slacked and it cost them? What did you do to get back on track? My doctor told me to expect to gain back 20% of my weight loss and he still considers that a success but I don’t want to gain that weight back. I went from 260lbs to 180lbs. I purposely stopped my weight loss at that point because it was scary how fast I lost it, plus I felt great at that weight.
