    Low Calorie Diet..

    I do not believe there is any diet that works permanently for people. If there was, why do the surgery/? We've all tried "everything" and surgery is usually a last chance.

    Supervised Diet For Health Insurance?

    My insurance did not require anything except co=morbidities. Then they were good to go with the surgery. Of course, I have tri-care (military retired), which is the best you can have.

    What was the 'final straw'?

    I think most of us were tired of the co-morbidities. I know I was. After bi-lateral knee replacement I knew I had to do something. I had remarried to someone who sees the "skinny girl" in me and loves me for who I am. That has been a great suppor.

    One more thing to add - if you're really having a problem, talk to your surgeon/diatician. They may have some suggestions.

    Hi! I'm new and just 4 weeks out from surgery!

    I'm having trouble getting all the protein, I'm 3 weeks out. Also, I can't eat a mean either. I end up dumping every time and I'm sick of the heaves. LOL. I guess the best thing for protein is Isopure from GNC but Ican't always stomach that. i hope I start losing faster soon. Right now it...
