Hey LadyK,
Welcome to the forum. I would like to say sorry for your loss. I lost my sister as well I know it is hard. My sister lost her battle with AIDS. I know the pain of losing a sister and I was very angry for a long time. I questioned the Lord for a long time as to why it was her time to...
They probably want to make sure that you are not having anymore problems than what you are having. I didn't have these problems because I had my gallbladder removed years ago. I am having other issues though. Good luck with everything. Keep us posted on the outcome of everything.

Welcome to the forum. You are doing better than I did 3 days after surgery. What type of surgery did you have? I was told to drink g2 gatorade as a main source of my fluids after surgery. It has more of the electrolytes and stuff that we need. I was told to sip sip sip. If you feel like you are...
When we have out different types of surgery especially the bypass and the sleeve. Isn't our new stomachs supposed to be shaped like a tube? I had an upper gi today and the doctor that did my test told me that my stomach was shaped like a regular stomach only a little smaller. I am quite confused...

Hi Redmama,
Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your decision to start your weight loss journey. I had the same situation as you with the best friend not approving and not supporting your decision. I had to learn that I was doing this for me and for my health and not for her approval. To this day...

I am losing at a slow rate but, I am still having issues with my pouch and learning how to eat correctly. I haven't been getting in enough calories and my body has been in starvation mode. I also have to have an upper gi on friday. I was told the same thing that Karenina told you. I have only...
Scrapper,

Sorry to hear that you are having problems. Hope all will turn out well. I will keep you in prayer. I go tomorrow to the gastrointerologist for an appt. Then they will probably have me come back in for an upper gi. My stomach has been burning so I will have to have an upper gi to check and see...
I am glad that they were able to do it laprascopically. Both of my sisters had theirs done that way. The older twin was up in no time. The younger twin contracted MRSA while in the hospital and had to stay in the hospital for a month. I on the other hand had to get the big chop and on one side...
Congrats on your weight loss and like Cheyenne said 6 months will go by very quickly. As far as the coca-cola great job caffeine is hard to kick sometimes. Great job.
