They told us in the seminar that diabetics are usually taken off their meds during the 2 weeks before surgery, Has any experienced this did you have any problems being off meds before surgery? If so were you following the liquid diet seriously?

I was wondering,they said in the seminar I attended that they usually took diabetics off their meds 2 weeks prior to surgery while they were on the liquid diet has anyone experienced this? where there any problems?

Hi, I'm just beginning this journey, I've been to a seminar and my first appt with the doctor is June 14th. So far i'm leaning towards the sleeve. Does anyone have any pros or cons to share about it. I have to do something my obesity has nearly disabled me and I have a new grandson to play with!
