    Thank You. It's getting clear that I should already be low carb, low fat dieting. I've been finding myself saying goodbye to favorite foods and that is not a good thing. I'm ready for this mentally and I greatly appreciate the help.

    I have begun all the tests and should have a date soon, everyone tells me the surgery will be within 30 days. I have not met with the dietician yet and I wonder if anyone can tell me about the pre-surgery diet. Do we diet for two weeks on liquids only? I'm nervous that my lack of discipline...

    Psych eval???!!!???

    I am pre-op without a date yet and just passed the psych evaluation. It was exactly as twomas stated. Test and one-on-one evaluation. Even if you have a MH history there is nothing to worry about, you just have to trust that everyone is doing their job for your sake. You will be fine.
