Your doctor may have a support group or know of one in the area. Being scared I am finding out is normal. I know i am and I understand about food being a crutch. The group here is great and can be a good way to get support.

They cover lap band and by pass at 100%. Am now told by a manager that the sleeve is ok'ed sometimes....depends on the doctor and whats wrong with me.

Wish i knew more to help you. Its my understanding that the stomach can stretch if one over eats alot. My room mates has and shes gained back about 60 pounds. She stopped following the diet thats needed to stay slim. Whats bad as she gaines weight her health is declining. More here will answer...

I am on medicaid also in Arizona. Each state is different. I know here it takes 6-8 months to get to surgery. Call your carrier and ask for a list of what is needed and how long it normally takes. I know my list was farely small but what the doctors requested at a huge list of tests and so on.

I bet that was a sight to see ! I can't wait to have things like that happen to me !!!
