1 week post op pain

Noticed everyone complains about the gas, is it normal to have pain in my lower right stomach? Near my surgery wound?

I was lucky in that I didn't have any gas pain. However, I have been burping alot since surgery. Not painful, but annoying.

I am 4-days post-op, and I have had gas pain as well. Mine is on my left side, and comes and goes. My surgery was laparoscopic, so I have five small incisions around my stomach, not a single wound area. There does not appear to be any correlation of my pain to the wound locations.

Always talk to your surgeon. I had pain and couldn't keep anything down. Its important to speak to the surgeon because it can be a number of things.
