2 months out and still struggling to eat

Did anyone else have problems with eating? I'm still measuring 1/4-1/2 cup añd can't eat it all. When I eat meat like chicken I actually do throw up. Other times I eat I feel nausea and feel like it's stuck in my chest. I have this problem when I drink too ocassionally. I moved out of state and currently don't have insurance, I definitely underestimated the recovery time of surgery

I have days when I struggle still, 4 months out. Then I revert to milk, yogurt, frozen yasso bars, soup. In other words easier to swallow things. Meat and bread are the things I struggle with the most.

I agree with Julie, try to stick with softer, easy to swallow foods for a while. Everyone heals at their own pace. Give it a couple weeks before trying meats again. And make sure when you do reintroduce it, it's moist. Take tiny bites and chew really well. Good luck!
