Oh yes Dear I see an internal med doctor, and she isn't really treating this real serious. So I am wondering if anyone else has been through this or know what type of doctor to see
Internists are wonderful--one saved my life with a correct diagnosis many years ago--but you are aware that this one isn't knowledgeable about bariatric post-op care. I'm sorry I can't offer more information, but you have all my support. My little brother died from liver disease, but he was an alcoholic and had diabetes and other related problems. An older sister died of congestive heart failure, diabetes and liver disease, which seemed to be related to her morbid obesity.

I am pre-op still. Please try finding a good dietician and an experienced bariatric doctor if you do not already have those. I'm really sad that you're going through this. I hope that you get the help you need. Is it possible or a good idea to go to the ER if things are really bad, so they'll do labs and tests, and can refer you to good doctors to help you?
