Alternative protein options

I add plain old hemp hearts to a lot of my food. They blend nicely in to green smoothies, mix into salads, mix with quinoa for high protein "bowls", sometimes I add it to ground meat, such as for tacos.

veggie burger review: ugh. ick. nasty. i make veggie burgers and have eaten a lot of GardenBurgers, but these were just awful, mushy and tasted bad. I could actually discern the flavor of the peas, too. I never use peas when I make mine. Just cooked mashed soybeans, some sunflower seeds, grated carrot, eggs, wheat germ plus grain of some kind, maybe dried onions and formed into patties, then grilled. i don't know why i ever buy them, mine are so much better.
Love the new pic. :)

I used to like garden burgers until last week I had one without the bun and it was awful. Doesn’t taste the same without a bread same with hamburgers although I do like the lettuce wrapped burgers from In n Out and Carl’s Jr. once in a while.Im not good at cooking so I don’t make my own

I know this is typically asked but I have yet to see if anyone has tried a decent pea protein or hemp protein they liked? My stomach doesn’t seem to handle whey protein and my dietician recommending trying a plant based option.
What about good old fashioned chicken, turkey or ground beef? How far out are you? Are you allowed pureed foods yet?
