Hey! So I'm not a Dr. But one thing I've seen on VSG is that after surgery you have swelling - and the swelling can cause the feeling of hunger. Idk just wanted to throw my two cents inSurgery 5/17
I assume you are still liquids. From previous posts and talking to others who have had the surgery it is not uncommon to feel hungry during this stage because there is no bulk to what you are eating. Everything I have heard says that once you start eating real food you get full quickly and some, if not all, of the hunger goes away. Each person is different but that is the consensus.
Thanks so much. I was worried I did it for nothing!Hey! So I'm not a Dr. But one thing I've seen on VSG is that after surgery you have swelling - and the swelling can cause the feeling of hunger. Idk just wanted to throw my two cents in
I heard that when the swelling goes s down and then you begin to eat real food things should change! Hoping you feel encouraged and remember you made the right decision! Thanks so much. I was worried I did it for nothing!
