Artificial sweeteners

They are all toxic... but early on they tend to be a necessary evil. I personally use allulose when absolutely necessary, but prefer to do things like coconut sugar or date sugar, and I recently came across apple sugar, which comes in a liquid that is easier to use less of in things like tea.

Okay. I noticed I can drink more fluids when is hot to warm tea. I've been enjoying a few cups of green tea and crystal light. I am concerned about raising my sugar levels with the tea. Since the surgery I haven't need my diabetic meds. I am so happy to beat the family curse of diabetes. If I continue I'm the first in the family not to need meds. Would it be safe to use until I can drink plain water? I miss a nice cold bottle of water..

I understand. I had my surgery really quick after my first appointment with my dr. They counted my health classes from school and seen the therapist and nutritionist in the same week. It took 6 weeks from my first appointment to the surgery day. My PCP was shocked how quick it was. But I was losing weight in my own mainly from all my classes I had to take to get on the weight list into Nursing school. I know the body breaks down the artificial sugar and sugar almost the same on a molecular level. I have a sensitive system with alot of allergys. Just wanted to make sure I'm going what I need to be healthier. I need to drink the shakes. It's been the hardest for me because I cant stand milk, eggs, and have a hard time eating soggy foods.
