Hello everyone! I am at the very beginning- my physician has referred me to my weight and wellness center (the center requires a referral- not my insurance) and now I am waiting for my first appointment/consult for insurance submission. My insurance doesn’t seem to have many red tape requirements but I am nervous because I have a 35.5 BMI (And HBP, pre-diabetic, GERD). I am 40 yrs old. I think my approval will largely depend on the centers review of me. Anyways, I had to have a hysterectomy when I was 33 and online support groups like these made all the difference in my preparation and recovery. So, it’s nice to be here! Wish me luck!
