So, this year has been crazy... I've posted some about our adventure, from finalizing adoption of our daughter, selling our home in Cali and moving (the three of us, plus two 100 lb dogs and two cats) in a 20ft camper cross country to our new home in Amish Country (PA). Huge transitions that had me moving away from my younger son for the first time ever since he was 20 and wanted to stay in Cali, but closer to my oldest who lives in NYC. Closer to family, closer to peacefulness, closer to much needed break from the high cost of living on the West Coast. We had some plans made, and things in progress, and then in October my 44 year old hubby had a heart attack (he's generally healthy, eats well, is active, etc., so this was a HUGE shock), and subsequently had coronary bypass 2 weeks ago. Funny thing is that the plans we had became even more important... we have had blessing after blessing come around as a result of this crazy health event.
I am trying to stay on track with life, run the house myself and work full time in the middle of all this... I am trying to get back into being involved on the site...
