Chewing gum?

I’m a gum chewer. Is this a nono post op? I honestly forgot to ask prior to discharge.

That's a great question! I am 3 months out, and last week, had a chewable mento gum. I did not swallow it and I was fine.

I was told never chew gum again. If you accidentally swallow it, it could get stuck. Also, you swallow air when you chew gum. But I like to chew gum, so I do. I mean, who accidentally swallows gum?!?

Its like all those weird warnings on products .. Do not use this peroxide in your eyeballs. One person does some thing dumb and we all get a lesson lol
