I think that will be a decision between you, your doctor, and your location. Also your ability to have your resources (liquid diet things, medications) handy, so you won’t need to leave.

I totally agree with 3mom.

Personally, as long as I had everything I needed at home and didn't have any preexisting health conditions that made me more vulnerable, I would proceed with surgery.

I live in Washington state and they have stopped all "elective" surgeries for the time being. That is just for my state, not sure about elsewhere.
