Covid can take a flying leap. I made it this long without catching covid....now it seems I have caught the newest strain. I have never been in lock down due to the nature of my work but now I get to work from home until midweek next week. Thankfully nobody else in my family is sick but this sucks and I only have pretty mild symptoms but have little to no voice!

My sister caught it recently too and the only symptom she had was a scratchy voice which lasted longer than expected. She is super careful too, so I was surprised she got it. I hope the rest of the family doesn't get it. Feel better!

My family is all negative. One kiddo went back to school today. I'm getting my voice back today but the exhaustion kicked in uesterday afternoon, 4 days post first symptoms. If I had to get it, I am thankful it's this strain...however I rarely get sick and do not do well when I do.

It was interesting at how the symptoms seem to stop over night. I woke up Sunday and everything except exhaustion stopped. I fully had my voice and it was like I never lost it. Nose stopped running and feeling congested, no headache and actually started to get bouts of energy.

Today all that is left is the exhaustion. Even though I felt awake most of the day and it wasn't til 5 ish I started to feel tired.

I was going to work from home until Th but I'm noting a little buts work here and decided I will return to the office tomorrow

Make sure you have a negative covid test before going back to work.

Hope you are feeling better! I have been lucky enough not to catch it, even though literally everyone around me has had it. Everyone I know said the same you did, it is like over night they feel so much better.

You can test positive for months. I am following cdc guidelines

Happy you had a mild strain. We had the first strain and it was no fun. We had to close down our entire company for a month.

I am starting to see how wicked this stuff is and understand everybody I know who has previously had covid.

Covid itself was fine. Showed symptoms on the 10th and went back to work on 20th. I tried on the 19th but after sleeping 10.5 hours and struggling to move 3 feet to my work station I decided to give it another day. By the 22nd I came down with a nasty cough. Today I went to our urgent care as I was coughing to the point of puking last night. I was concerned it developed into something else. X-rays were good but doing a round of steroids, over the counter cough meds and another prescription to hopefully help.

Stress is major high right now with work and I am sure it's not helping with healing. Added to that I was working on a promotion right now that will drop my client load eventually down to 10. Hoping this move will support less stress long term.
