Diahrrea

I did in the beginning. It was horrible for 3-4 weeks after surgery. I was also on heavy duty antibiotics after weeks 2 & 3 so I guess that made it worse. Haven't had problems since. Glad you are getting it checked out though since you said the problem is chronic. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

I appreciate your response. I am 6 months out now, so it may have nothing to do with the surgery.

Has anyone else had problems with Diahrrea with the sleeve surgery. It is chronic with me and I am seeing my gastroenterologist this week to see if they have an answer. Just wondered if anyone else was having this problem.
I am 15/16 months out and have never had solid stools since. However I just started a new migraine med and suddenly the opposite problem.

Thanks for your reply. That is interesting. I am scheduled to do blood work and also a stool sample next week but may not see the doctor for a while. He said 2 to 3 weeks for follow-up. I am going to try and get it moved up. I don't see why it should take that long. I appreciate your perspective. Good luck with your new meds and the effect they are having on you.
