Energy crash after eating

I would get that at work, an hour after lunch. It was so bad I could hardly keep my peepers open. I think, for me, my digestive system becomes active and the rest of my body shuts down. Biologically Your blood rushes to help you digest your food. So there is a reason this happens. Maybe eat smaller amounts at more frequent intervals? Instead of a big meal, split it u p. Eat nuts, then a little cheese, grapes, banana like 30 min apart. See if that works. If not , time to ask Dr advice.
