Curious of who else underwent (or is planning to undergo) weight loss surgery as a single parent with zero help received from their children(s) biological mom or dad? Heck, without a current significant other to help take some of the load off as well.
It's almost been a year since my surgery and wondering what it's been like for others to keep the full-time care giving role while also making sure you actually take the time to succeed with your weight loss.
Having a teen son diagnosed with ASD/ADHD, I'm really not sure how I've managed to lose a total of 118 pounds! Seems like my whole life revolves around him, but guess I am doing some things right for myself. Sometimes it seems like the only success I'm having these days is weight loss related despite all of my hard work.
Anyone else can relate?
