Well, although my pre-surgery appointment is later today the surgical scheduler called me yesterday. She is going to be out of the office during the time of my appointment so she scheduled me over the phone last night! MARCH 21ST!!!! Less than a month. THE COUNT DOWN HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED!!!! :D:D:D:Do_O

Also, as of right now my wife can come for the surgery but not to my room. She will have to leave when I get into a room. I hope it lightens up before the 21st but either way I am so excited to be at the "first finish line" and onto the next "starting line".

Yeah, hopefully they have relaxed the visitation policy by surgery time. My husband just spent 12 days in the hospital. I stayed nearly round the clock in his room, sleeping in the reclining chair by his bed, just going home every few days to get my meds, take care of the cat etc. It would have been unbearable for him if I couldn't have stayed. A few months ago, I wouldn't have been able to do that, but Covid cases are finally declining. Still lots of Covid in the hospital, just not as acute as it was previously, thank the Lord. Good luck. ❤❤

Karen, that is promising news. I have never had surgery before and cannot imagine not being able to see my husband afterwards. I hope your husband is doing okay.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband's hospital stay. I hope he is doing better.
