Gastric Bypass in Saint Louis

Greetings
I'm Michael and going in for my surgery this coming Monday morning. Of course I'm a bit uneasy about the procedure but focused on the prize and will
enjoy more activities and play time with my 4 year old Granddaughter. Happy Easter everyone and good luck.
Michael

Welcome Michael. How exciting, it is OK to be nervouse I was very anxciouse but I had my three daughters ther with me and some of my grandkids, they were waiting for me when I was done, that was 2 years ago and over 100lbs ago, I wouldn't change a thing. So what are you having, Band, Sleeve or RnY. Let us know how you are doing. Tom

Thanks Tom for your encouragement. That means a lot to me. I'm having the Full Monty. RnY. My current weight is around 371 and goal weight would be 225. Forget my "high school" weight. Lol

hi
I too am having my surgery in st louis, don't have my surgery date yet but have had all the pre-op test etc. I have been searching on here trying to find someone else whose having surgery in st louis because I am curious what were the last things they had to go through before getting the actual surgery date, are you going through Barnes Jewish Hospital? do you have Dr. Eagon? if you have time would you mind answering these few questions for me. I am happy for anyone whose made it through all the test and whom are lucky enough to get there surgery, will pray Monday surgery day is a good day for you and a speedy and healthy recovery.
May you and your family and grandchildren have a Blessed Happy Easter too!
Donna

Hello Donna
I'm having my procedure at Des Pers Hospital in West County by Dr Richard Fallwell. I went through three nutritional classes and counseling. I did labs two weeks ago and had my last meeting with Dr. Fallwell last Monday. Good luck with your surgery.
