H- pylori

Tasha, did you have this test in your bariatric surgeons office or as part of your bariatric work up? If so, they will tell you what you should do.

OK thanks for the info and yes it was apart of my bariatric work up and they have they prescribed me meds. I was just wondering if someone else had experienced this as well..
I do think that this is contributing to my intestinal issues.

Interesting... Like Diane, I just had to look it up. I don't believe I was tested, or else I wasn't told anyway. The article says that most people live without symptoms but others may have:
  • An ache or burning pain in your abdomen
  • Abdominal pain that's worse when your stomach is empty
  • Nausea
  • Loss of appetite
  • Frequent burping
  • Bloating
  • Unintentional weight loss

So I never even heard of this before my surgery journey..but apparently today I was told I'm positive for it.. It would explain my stomach issues though.. But anywho.I'm wondering if anyone else has had it or knows more info on it and the process thanks
Yes it’s called dumping syndrome. It comes out if no where.
