Very excited about being 8 days out from surgery! Having been on the pre-op liquid only for the past week I'm more than ready for my tummy to stop rumbling for food. I woke up on day one telling myself, "This is the first day of my new life" and each day I remind myself.

Hi, I'm excited too. My surgery - rny - is scheduled 7/10. The pre-op diet is no joke, right! Liquid only!!!! OMGgosh I can have some food but even that is difficult. Best of luck!

Yeap it is tough and after too, but it is worth it.

I am learning to think of life as a journey, not just some random diet of the season. I am scared of the day when the "honeymoon" period finishes and I start gaining weight. I hope I learn something to keep it off.
