I am new to this group. I am pre-surgery. I am halfway through 3 months of classes. I looked into this once before. However, I did not follow through because I did not have any support and my work schedule/tasks were going to place me endangered of dehydration and malnutrition. Now it has been years later my work will not be in the way but again I have no support. So I am hoping this might be a place I can get some questions answers.

I usually walk 1-3 miles a day with my dog. I love nature but sports are not my thing. Actually competition is not something I enjoy.

I have a lot of health problems which is why I wish I had done this years ago but it is also why I am so motivated to do it this time.

Hello and welcome! We are here to offer all the support we can. It's great that you already walk everyday. Competitive sports aren't my thing either, so I understand. You can achieve your goals by walking for sure. Soak in all the information you can and poke around the site, you'll find a lot of supportive people here. :)
