[Getting Old]

I’m new to the group. 11 years ago I had the Lap Band lost from 230 was down to 152 the summer of 2019. I lost my Mother my world. I have gained 60 pounds. Been Dx. with eating disorder I have no concept of being full till it’s to late. We have been going through all the testing to get me to my surgery date. I go June 21, 2021 for my EGD. I pray at the time of my Lap-Band removal because of failure they can do the Gastric Bypass then

Welcome to the group! So sorry you lost your mother.

I had lapband surgery many years ago and last year I had it removed and had VSG. I like it so much better. I don't think you will have a problem with approval of VSG or RNY because you have regained some weight. I had regained almost all of mine and was approved. So many people have had problems with the lapband, that I don't think they really question wanting a revision.

Losing a loved one (especially a parent) is so difficult. My heart goes out to you! Glad you are here and reaching out for the love and support everyone seems to offer up so readily. It's a pretty great place to be!
