It gets harder the further out you get. I'm 2 1/2 years out. Maintaining about 5-10lbs higher than my lowest weight but still under my goal. Its work. And apparently its never going to end lol I track and measure out my food at least several days a month. Otherwise the pounds start to creep up. Turns out, I very quickly forget what a serving size looks like. I also have to focus on eating or I end up mindlessly eating entirely too much.
It was work to lose the weight, even if it didn't seem as difficult in the beginning.Its going to be work to keep it off. Apparently the majority of thin/fit people actually WORK at it. So, now we do too.
