Hello. I'm new to the site. I discovered it by accident and so glad I did. I've been eagerly reading a lot of the posts and reading the stories. I feel so relieved to know others have the same struggles or have faced the same issues. My surgery date was postponed due to COVID but back on schedule for August 4. Nervous but I feel better after reading the stories and advice.

Welcome!! Congrats on your surgery date. I also had my surgery canceled because of COVID 19. I had my VGS done on July 9, 2020. I am going on my 3rd week. I feel good. My surgery went well and I had no problems. I came home the next day which was great since you couldn't have a family member with you in the hospital. Everyone here will help you with any questions you have. They are a great group. Good luck with your surgery.

Welcome to the forum! Relatively new here, too. Got sleeved on 7/16 and believe it or not due to Covid I was sent home the same day!! It wasn't too bad. No gas pains here either. Best of Luck on your Journey.

Welcome! You've joined a great group. This is the best bariatric forum on the net, in my opinion. It's the only one I'm active in. Also, no question is a stupid question. There is tons of information thrown at you during this process and it's easy to forget or miss some things. Of course, you always want to get official answers for medical advice from your doctor/surgeon, but the people on this forum have been through a lot from pre-surgery to 13+ years post-surgery, so be sure to ask questions if you have them, and turn to us if your feeling down, discouraged, afraid, or any time you need help, AND be sure to share your victories!!
