Hi, new here. Anxious and looking for support.

I live pretty far from my family and don't really have a big circle of friends. I'm in a bariatric program in Louisville, KY, and just waiting to get paperwork done to get a surgery date. I have lots of questions, but mostly am looking for guidance and maybe friendship.

I am bipolar and also suffer from anxiety, so that has made it hard to know where or how to start. I am trying not to talk myself out of doing the surgery (sleeve) now that I am most of the way through. Change is difficult, but I want to be healthier and make a change for the better.
