Hello,

I’m Marie and I just has by gastric bypass surgery yesterday. So far so good, I’ve only need 1 painkiller so far and the air/gas in my abdomen has mostly dissipated. I still have a little pain in my right shoulder but it’s bearable. I look forward to seeing all of our journeys and being there for each other.

Welcome Marie, I had gastric bypass on Jan 3rd this year, I'm just over 5 months post op and doing very well. I agree with Diane, take good care of yourself and do what you need to do to heal well. The first few weeks are still a blur for me, I felt so strange, but then it seems to adjust and I just feel normal now, well, much better than I used to, so new normal.
