Hungry

I have dinner somewhere between 1800 and 1900. I have my allotted portion 1/2 cup. I wait an hour to start sipping on liquids.
Around 2200 I’m so hungry like I haven’t eaten all day. Has anyone else had this issue?
it only seem to happen after dinner.

Yes but I get hungry about every three hours regularly lol.
It sounds like what I went through every time I was about to transition. For example towards the end of liquid and to pureed or pureed and into soft, the hunger was much greater towards the transition date.
Also, during the pureed phase, I gradually incorporated more dense food, maybe your body is ready for more substance?

I have to say that my liquid diet is causing me to be bewildered! I have this great book my surgeon and but put together my taste buds have changed and what I did pre surgery I can't tolerate now. I go to see both next week

Your taste buds do change after surgery. I was loving jello to death before surgery and my Carmel primer protein drinks,
No I can’t stand the smell or the taste. Maybe try new things. Popsicles or just clear soups.Insure make a clear protein drink that is not to bad.

Can you have a high protein snack at that time? I know some doctors discourage eating at least 3 hours before bed but mine isn't a stickler about it. If it's at least an hour before bed, sometimes I'll have a small snack like a cheese stick or a Yasso frozen yogurt bar. Or if my carbs were low all day a banana with peanut butter. I figure that should help with potassium too. ;)
