Just wanted to update everyone on my surgery and recovery progress. I first weighed in and had lost 35lbs on that crazy one month liquis diet and I am glad to say I made it through and don't even know why I was so nervous and scared to start with. Of course the hours after surgery was a but of a blur and I can say my mouth was dry but was given water and swabs to keep moist so I made it through that part as well and after my xray and dye scan this morning I was then a loud to sip water or chew ice chips and did extremely well with that no nausea feeling at all which surprised me. I managed that then I was brought my lunch tray which consisted of broth jello and crystal light again not nausea held it down . I was up and walking few hours after surgery and continued to walk I was told once I was able to pass some gas ,pee and of course handle liquids and continued walking this evening about 5:00 I was released from the hospital to come home so here I am all in tact and feeling pretty good other than being sore. I know I still have a long road a head of me but I am grateful that I made it through parts I thought I wouldn't. I also want to send a BIG THANK YOU to all of you guys that were supportive and encouraging along the way. So now let the healing begin!!
