Iam new to all this

My name is Laurie and I am so glad I found this group. To say I am nervous about this surgery is an understatement. I am leaning towards the gastric bypass but will see what I learn in my classes. I start my 12 week options classes on Tuesday. I am 53 does age have an effect on the results?
