I read this article this morning and found it interesting. While we as weight loss surgery patients are not on a diet, the weight loss can do the same thing to our metabolism.

Wow, some women’s resting metabolic rate dropped to 700 calories, so it took them 70 more days to lose the same amount of weight! No fair. It’s as if our body is working against us to lose weight. Thanks a lot cavemen!
