Is this to slow?

9wks out down 23lbs. I have been stalled 3 wks. Normal?
The 3 week stall is so common, books should be written on the subject lol. Things to keep in mind please.

1. Please don't get discouraged. You WILL continue losing weight.

2. As long as you are getting in 64-80ozs of water, 60+gms of protein daily, and continue walking and other forms of movement, the stall will end and the lbs will drop off. These stalls and plateaus will happen all throughout your weight loss journey. But you will still lose it.

3. Please try to resist weighing yourself more than once a week. Record your weekly progress and your overall progress since the surgery (or from your 2 week pre-surgery liquid diet if appropriate) to give you perspective as your journey progresses.

4. Celebrate each NSV (nonscale victory) as much as you do each lost pound. Exs.: walking through the grocery store without having to stop & rest or cut your trip short. Increased stamina. Less joint pain. Buttons that button. Meeting your long lost toes. Tying your shoes painlessly. Wiping your butt completely lol.

Best wishes. You've got this!!! ❤❤

The weight loss journey is different for everyone. Normal has varied definitions when it comes to WLS results. Some people have stalls - others have extreme rapid weight loss. There really isn’t a right or wrong way.
Some people can burp, fart, pee, poop and lose 10 pounds. While others can burp, fart, pee, poop, smell a cookie on the way to the scale and gain 10 pounds.
Just stick with your surgical teams eating plan and it’ll be ok. You’re just getting started - your body has to adjust. You got this!!!
