Good morning everyone. I know y’all are so tired of seeing my name come up but I have this vitamin powder I have to mix in and drink twice a day... but it’s kicking my BUTT ! It’s so dang nasty. I’ve mixed it with so many different things. Is there an alternative or a trick I can use.... I want to give up

I wasn’t allowed vitamins until 1 month out, and everyone is different, but I took a capsule, and still do, with no issues. My surgeon doesn’t want vitamins in the first month because if someone has a sensitivity to them, it can mimic a potential problem from the surgery. He likes a solid month of healing before introducing vitamins just to get through the most critical time. I have a 1 a day bariatric vitamin with extra iron that I take.

Hmmm he had me do vitamins my
4th day post surgery. I wish I could switch to something else

You can and should ask for another vitamin recommendation from your doctor/nutritionist. While we all have to take supplements, there is literally no reason that you have to take that specific kind. And if you hate it, you're not going to take it forever. Better they offer you an option you can live with rather than risk you not taking it at all.
