I've had no motivation to excersise. How will I lose weight? Please help desperate girl in VA. Had sleeve surgery March 13, 2019.

go to the store and look walk around and look at the clothes that you will want to buy when you get down to your goal weight. It will give you something to work for. Remember why you had the surgery maybe that will give you something to motivate you. You got this. Come on. Get up and move. The more you move the better you will feel. Mind over matter.

I went out yesterday. I rode with my friend to take my daughter over her girlfriends house for spring break. It fealt so good to be out besides going to the doctor's. On the way back we stopped for me to pick up some household goods. I was so scared to get out and walk because everytime im on my feet longer than 2 minutes I get lightheaded and it feel like my legs are gonna give out I don't understand it one dr said I be weak cause im dehydrated but I got myself together and I walked around and got my stuff but as I was finishing up my legs were so weak I had to hurry but I did good hopefully a couple more of those visits and it'll build my strength up thanks for the support

You took the first step that is what mattered. Congrats. Keep up the good work. Even if it is getting out. Even just a little bit of movement will help. My doctor don't want me to push myself to much right now to keep my back from messing up again. She has me set to 3000 steps but I up that because I was get 4000 all the time. But I pushed my self today I have done over 7000. If a 580lb girl can do it you can to. Just build yourself up. That is all you can do. You are not going to be able to come back full force. Baby steps is better then none.

I've been doing my bariatric reading today and I think I have protein deficiency. After surgery my taste buds weren't the same for the protein drinks so I haven't been getting in my protein supplements. I'm having that sluggish feeling all the time and the weak arms and legs. Is there anything else you think I can try for protein

Nice pics. Everybody is telling me im trying to rush myself. I don't know what the problem is I feel like I have a deadline. I need to slow down and catch my breath. I just don't wanna let myself down that's all. I went threw a 6 month trial of meetings dr appointments bloodwork and all kinds of other medical test before surgery i just don't want it to be a waste

Give yourself a break. You have had major surgery. You just had a major organ cut in half. I got all the hype from classes and appointments. I felt so disappointed at my two week follow-up from my sleeve for being fatigued, constipated and dehydrated. The doctor switched gears on me and told me to take my time, just do what you can and let your stomach guide you. He said to think in terms of inches and not weight loss.
Good luck to you!

You can not let yourself down. Letting yourself down is giving up on life. You are still fighting. Remind yourself every morning when you wake up there is no deadline. All you can do is hope that you do better today then you did yesterday. Even if it is just getting out of the house. If it is walking to the mailbox and back. Even if it is the fact you take a ride some where. You still had to take those steps to the car. You still have the movements. You need to get protein in and a good way if you don't like the protein drinks is to look up recipes and try ones you mix. Or non-fat greek yogurt has good protein in it as well. Maybe the premade protein shakes are not agreeing with you stomach but mixing your own you choose what you put in it. Me and my son tried a butterfinger protein shake last night and the good think is that you can use the premade protein shakes to make them. They are easy and good. Don't stop trying. You are improving. Take you time and don't hurt your self. That body of yours need the be hydrated and needs it protein. Keep you head up. You will get there.
