Hey everyone, I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself. I had gastric sleeve surgery three weeks ago with Renew Bariatrics in Tijuana, Mexico. I’m 32, started this journey at 267 lbs, and I’m already down to 243. It’s been a wild mix of emotions—super grateful and hopeful, but also somewhat overwhelmed.
The surgery went really well, and the team down there was great. But now that I’m back home, I’m realizing how much there is to figure out—eating slowly, staying hydrated, managing energy, and just getting used to this new normal.
If anyone has advice or tips from their own post-op experience—what helped you stay on track, what to eat in the soft food stage, what kind of vitamins actually work for you—I’d seriously appreciate it. Just trying to do this right and stay motivated. Thanks in advance!
