Hi Donna and welcome. Did your doctor give you advice for the blood sugar drops with the liquid diet? Are you on clear liquids or can you have protein shakes?

I am on protein shakes. No advise from doctor on blood sugar drops. I am seeing endocrinologist for a month. He has lowered treasons once but it was not enough. So I am managing titrations myself. So far oral meds reduced to half and no insulin for three days. Blood sugar still dropped to 80. So I am just monitoring closely. I am praying to come off all meds with controlled sugars.

Hang in there! It sounds like you are doing all you can. Keep in touch with your dr if it drops too far or for too long. A lot of people do come off meds after surgery, hopefully you will fall into the same boat.
