Just some questions

I am new to the group and I have some questions. I am about 8 months post op from having the gastric sleeve. I have lost about 110lb (25 before my surgery and the rest since the surgery) For about the last month I have been stuck in a plateau (I go up a pound or 2, then down, then up again) I have lymphedema and that sometimes works against me because it makes my legs swell. I have also noticed that I am bruising a lot since my surgery. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi! WELCOME to the Forum!!! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS!!!

Have you been taking your vitamins? Maybe you are low in Vitamin K which will cause bruises. I think you should call your surgeon's office. They will know best. I have water weight and take Lasix every day or else I really get swollen ankles. Your plateau may just be you might be retaining fluid. Stay true to your diet and you will drop more weight!
