Lapband revision to bypass

Hi All,

My surgery was May 23rd, still having soreness inside on the left. Anyone else have this revision and can advise if this is normal. I know the surgeon said it was complicated as he had to remove scar tissue. And the port was removed from the left side. I'm hoping that's why I'm still sore.

Hi Ange! I was quite sore at times on both inside left and right. My port was on the right but doc had to resect some stomach tissue on the left because the band had damaged/integrated the tissue. Week 3-4 it was still sore to roll side to side in bed. Week 4-5 where I am now --- pain seems to have completely subsided! So, hopefully with more patience, you'll have some relief from discomfort. I'll be interested to read if anyone else has had similar lingering pain.
