Great I tried yesterday turkey broth with pwd milk and dried cream of chicken soup abut 15 grams protein for half cup an it tasted good. I found my sense of smell is so much stronger post surgery that food smells almost turns my stomach. Do you have to watch the clock cause your not hungryThats awsome thank you so much Marshaa, i just wasnt sure... Makes me feel like i have more options now iv been trying foods so far so good...
I eat 6 small meals and sip allday. I went and bought a lot of sugarfree flavors from smart and final I add them to my shakes and yogurt and cottage cheese. They taste pretty good too. So your able to drink a whole protien shake at a time? I've also made tomato soup last nite add a little cheese and pwd milk for extra protein. This morning I made a soft scrambled egg I didn't have any problems. So how are you feeling?I have time i eat so i started having the protien shake in the morning betweet 730 and 8 then 130 lunch and about 5 to 6 is dinner.... have you added anything to your protien shake????
My dietician said any creamy soups just strain it so no solids. Also milk can do fat free she sat to add dry pwd milk to increase the protein and i can make puddings and eat yougart. I haven't had any dumping syndrome. But I'm only eating a quarter to half a cup at a time.Your able to eat tomato soup they said i cant have acidy food how did you feel after... im doing good i went for a 20 min walk this morning.... i asked my diatician if i couldnt have milk she said no it would cause dumping syndrome.... i wanna try the tomato soup i love it... what sugar free stuff did you buy?
