Looking for In Person Los Angeles Based Support- Any suggestions

My hospital offers an occasional online topic-specific group lecture but an in-person group or friend would work better for me.
My friends and family do not understand (VSG in Oct 2022).

I am in the same exact position as you, but am based in Boston. I had my VSG Jan 9th. Feel free to reach out here as there is good support through this website. Feel free to reach out to me too. I am fortunate to have one good friend in TX who understands but has not had the surgery so only understands to a point.
