Major Concerns

My daughter had her surgery 2 days ago. This morning, (or afternoon) she goes back into surgery for what her doctor called a "JJ blockage." Is anyone familiar with this? She's had an upper GI and a bowel study. The doctor told her nothing is moving. She has been vomiting what was described to her as bloody, bowel smelling vomit. This mom is very concerned. Can't go be with her bc there are still covid restrictions in the hospitals, but thankful her husband is with her. We are all praying! UPDATE: THE doctors are concerned about pneumonia. I will try to keep up with this but having trouble navigating through everything.

I am not familiar with a JJ blockage, but I wanted to let you know you have my sympathy. My son was in the hospital recently, and I couldn't go visit him due to the darn Covid restrictions.

It's so hard as a parent to have to sit on the sidelines. I hope your daughter gets better soon.

Thank you so much. Nothing is getting past her colon. My younger daughter is scheduled for April 11th and I am waiting for my surgery date...not looking forward to any of it at this point. I know God is with us and it sounds like my faith is wavering, it's not at all, it's a mom thing. Thank you for your understanding and kind words.
