Milestone

So...I hit a milestone today. I’ve officially lost 150 pounds.

I started this journey in April 2019 at a weight of 541. ( I know some of you may gasp at that number...but that’s where I was.)

I lost 91 pounds prior to my 2/14/2020 gastric bypass. If you did the math, you know I’ve lost 59 pounds since surgery and am at 391 now. I realize I’m still heavier than most are before they even start their journey. With that said, I’m proud of myself for all the changes I’ve implemented.

It’s working. I just have to stay on the path. I know I’ve got this!!!

I’d like to thank everyone here for your support. This group has a significant role in my weightloss process.

WOW!!! That's great! You are on the right track and I am sure you will continue to have great success! Don't fret about occasional weight gains. Your body will find a way to reduce the calories needed (if it thinks you are starving). When you hit a plateau, change your exercise routine and "confuse" your body. Focus on the other non-scale victories. You are winning the battle.
