HI. Welcome to the group. I am not sure if you mean you have a burning sensation after eating, or if you meant burping, since you mentioned air. I have just started losing my hair recently, so I am right their with you on the petrified front. I just keep reminding myself that I'm not LOSING my hair. I'm shedding. I'm not going bald. It's thinning. My cousin had the sleeve about 6 months before I had my bypass. She has stopped shedding already and her hair looks fine, so I have faith that I'm going to be okay. Being back at work HAS had its challenges. Please keep in mind that your job is legally required to make "reasonable accommodations" for medical issues. You are medically required to sip water throughout the day and take your vitamins. I happen to have a job where you are not allowed to drink water (or anything) unless on a scheduled break. Well, that doesn't work anymore, since I have to eat on break and I can no longer do both. I actually had to fill out ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) paperwork to be allowed to have a water bottle on the floor and drink throughout the day. But I would suggest just discussing your situation with your boss, if you've told them about your surgery. Hopefully, it's a non issue. Hope you're feeling better soon.
